Qais Al-Awqati, M.B., Ch.B.
Qais Al-Awqati is the Robert F. Loeb Professor of Medicine and Professor of Physiology and Cellular Biophysics at Columbia University in New York City. He received his medical degree from the University of Baghdad and continued his clinical training at Johns Hopkins Hospital and the Massachusetts General Hospital. He is a member of the American Academy of Arts & Sciences.
