David Palling, Ph.D
Senior Vice President, Therapeutics
David Palling joined Chromocell in July 2010 and is responsible for leading the company’s programs in Drug Discovery and Development.
David has worked in the pharmaceutical industry for 27 years and has broad experience in the preclinical, early clinical and CMC aspects of drug development.
Prior to joining Chromocell, David was the SVP for Technical Operations and the SVP of Preclinical Development at Amicus Therapeutics, a clinical stage company located in New Jersey. David was heavily involved in the company’s start up in 2002 and subsequently was responsible for bringing its three products through IND-enabling studies and into Phase 1 clinical trials. Prior to joining Amicus, David occupied several senior-level positions in drug development and CMC at Johnson & Johnson and Roche.
David earned B.Sc. (Hons) and Ph.D. degrees in Chemistry from the University of London and carried out Post-Doctoral Research in Biochemistry at Brandeis University in Waltham, Mass.
